A bit of history
First started working in the woods in 1975. 1983 I bought my first truck (bigger then a pickup) and dozer, here in Fairbanks. For the most part have been working for myself, taking employment with other companies from time to time when the economy was tight or there was a good paying opportunity.
For the most part I worked at sales in fire wood, saw logs and house logs. Then in 2006 I purchased the planer/moulder business from Nenana Lumber Co. Now I spend the summers making Log Lap Siding, and other sidings, out of spruce, aspen and birch. In the winter I get to head back out into the woods and do some logging.
